"Not a place to Go"
Westervelt Avenue really has nothing on it at all. It is grimy and the condition of the road is in terrible shape. The neighborhood around it is pretty much dilapidated and it is only on street away from Jersey Street which is not good at all. The street is very narrow and very congested and you always feel like your going to hit parked cars and pedestrians. I don’t feel that this is a good place for kids to place for this very reason. The street, though, is located close to the ferry so it gives good access to Manhattan.

"On Westervelt Avenue"
Westervelt Avenue isn’t much of anything. You won’t find much in the way of anything on this Westervelt Avenue. Though it wasn’t really a sight for sore eyes, this street was calm and nicely populated, and I didn’t feel that I could make a home here, though there isn’t much in the way of food and exciting things to do. You’ll have to go to the next street for that kind of fun.
