Westminister Ave
"Great place to raise a family."
A friend of mine lives here and I have spent a great deal of time on this street. This is a wonderful place for young families - it runs right through Snider Plaza which has an array of upscale restaurants (Penne Pomodoro, Felissa's, and Amore's), down-home restaurants (Kuby's and Peggy Sue's BBQ) and boutiques (The Nest, Flavors from Afar, A Peek in the Attic). There's a Tom Thumb within walking distance, which is always nice. The street dead ends right into a beautiful park where families come to picnic and play - its the perfect lazy day place to spend a few hours.
The only downfall of this street is the parking. Snider Plaza is a very popular weekend and evening hang-out and there just isn't enough parking which overflows onto my friend's street leaving enough room only for one car to get through. But, despite the activity it is a quiet, lovely place.
