"Glad I moved from this one, noisy"
Westwood Street is located in Northwest Detroit, running north and south from the city limits of Dearborn at Paul Street to the city limits at Eight Mile Road, Southfield, Michigan.
A very narrow street, adorned with nice brick homes in the southernmost stretch, this street also runs through many viscious neighborhoods of Detroit.
This street does cross many east and west thoroughfares such as West Warren, I-96 Freeway (Jeffries Freeway), Grand River and others, offering great acess to major east and west bus lines throughout the city.
High amounts of drug traffic here as well, many vacant burned out shells of homes in virtually every block.
Extremely noisy at night, often times sirens from emergency/police/fire heard throughout the late evening hours.
Not a good family atmosphere, parks unkept, basically no access to any type of major shopping stores.
