Wilder St
"An Ally with the Best Restaurant Ever"
So, Wilder Street is hardly a street. Yes, it has some houses on it, but it mostly insects with Diamond Street at it's west end. And it's at this corner that the magic happens. It puts you smack dab in the middle of Glen Park and at one of my favorite restaurants, Le P'tit Laurent. This French Bistro has probably the best lamb shank I have ever had, in addition to some wonderful French dishes.
If French doesn't catch your eye, there is a sushi joint, a diner, and several other restaurants right around this street. Minimal walk. On the other hand, if you want to cook at home, Wilder and Diamond also is home to Canyon Market, which is sort of like an overpriced Whole Foods. Still, pretty decent food.
Transportation wise, very close to BART.
