"Shopping, restaurants and downtown living"
Typical of most of the streets in downtown Seattle, 2nd Ave. has some terrific sights, shops and restaurants. The Seattle Art Museum, Benaroya Hall and the historic Moore Theatre give you plenty to do and see. Restaurants like The Brooklyn, The Metropolitan Grill and Union Square Grill serve up delicious cuisine. Second Avenue has many indoor and outdoor seating areas to enjoy your lunch or just people-watch. Night life on 2nd Ave. is popular, with a few bars and clubs that participate in the Pioneer Square joint cover admission charge (pay one cover, get into several local clubs). And 88 Keys Dualing Piano Bar is offers a fun, interactive night out with friends. Second Aveune ends at Seahawks Stadium (otherwise known as Qwest Field), though that area offers less in terms of tourist attractions. Condos and apartments along 2nd Ave., especially in the Belltown area, are expensive, though downtown residents claim its the best area to live in the city.

"2nd Avenue S in Seattle, Washington"
The Klondike Gold Rush National Park is an amazing attraction in the heart of Seattle. Located at 319 2nd Avenue South, the national park features an interactive and educational museum, exhibiting the life and times of the Gold Rush. The park also offers a handful of great programs, tours, films and my personal favorite, gold panning! This is a great trip for the family, or alone.
