"Downtown Chula Vista - Quaint yet Modern"
3rd Avenue is great - lots of charm, history and still alive with shops and restaurants and bustling with activity. It is one of the original streets in old Chula Vista and is home to many of the civic buildings for Chula Vista- police, fire department, courthouse and county registrar. 3rd Avenue is also host to a weekly Farmer's Market on Thursday, Classic Car Night during the summer, Concerts in the Park, and the annual Christmas Parade in December. Along with the mltiple activities and events, 3rd Avenue also boasts a variety of restaurants - Thai, Sushi, Mexian, Burgers, desserts and coffee shops. If you're in the mood for music, you'll be happy to know that there are plenty of music events as well as music stores on 3rd Ave. Antique stores, jewelry stores and bakeries also line the storefronts on 3rd Avenue. Whether you have lived in Chula Vista since the early years or you moved here last week, you will find 3rd Avenue to be a charming and friendly street where you can visit again and again.
