3rd Ave
"A park and a hospital right around the corner."
In the Sunset District, 3rd Avenue, much like 2nd Avenue, is mainly a residential Avenue. 3rd Avenue extends three blocks over and lies between Golden Gate Park and UCSF (University of California San Francisco) Medical Center. The N Muni Train runs by 3rd Avenue, making transportation accessible and nearby. As you head towards Parnassus Avenue you will be going up a hill, this hill makes a great jogging area for those who want rough terrain and want to put out a bit more sweat by running up a steep hill. Not only is that hill a good place to job, so is Golden Gate Park which is very close by. In the Richmond District, 3rd Avenue is much longer and is basically full of homes, but you will come by big streets such as Fulton Street, Balboa Street, Geary Boulevard, Clement Street, and California Street. As you pass by these big streets, you will come by several restaurants and stores.
