"Nice if you want to live in a quiet area where cops are called if you are loud."
Adobe Falls Rd is located in the canyon below SDSU. It's kind of out on its own, a long walk to anything you'd want to go to. There is a trolley station close by, but it's about a 25 minute walk to get there. There are stores and gas stations up the hill, but they are not within walking distance if you plan to do any grocery shopping.
It's a quiet area, a lot of families live here surprisingly. For being close to SDSU, I thought it would be more college students living in the condos down here. The neighbors expect you to keep it quiet and are rude if you don't. The police are often called if a condo is making "excessive noise," which can be anything from someone listening to their own private music too loud, or having a small party. It depends on the neighbor.
It's definitely not a high class area. The cost of living here is not worth it, because the condos were built in the 70's, and not well insulated at all. It's super hot in the summer, super cold in the winter, and you can hear everything. The bedrooms are small, but the common areas are decent sized. I think the cost to live here is up because it is close to SDSU, but it's not a super nice area. There are plenty of trees and bushes around.
Also there are two hotels and one restaurant on the street, and parking is horrible. It makes it worse that the main condos on this street don't assign the same number of parking spots to the number of rooms in a condo, but also that there are people staying in hotels and parking on the streets when the hotel parking is full. The neighbors talk to some neighbors, but are not overly friendly to all of the neighbors. After 5pm don't expect to be able to find a parking spot on the street, except for maybe at the end of the street (about a 10 minute walk), until they start letting people move into the new condos that are being built at the end of the street.
