"A well maintained, pleasant neighborhood, that's close to town via fwy. 8."
Del Cerro Blvd. runs East and West, paralleling Freeway 8 on the North side, just opposite from the campus of San Diego State University that borders the South side of the freeway. Our neighborhood was established in the mid-50s and has aged quite gracefully. It's neat, clean, tree-lined streets are home to an abundance of well-maintained residences that have kept up their value throughout the last 50 years.
It's a neighborhood that exudes a liveliness, witnessed by the goodly number of walkers, joggers and pet owners that abound. And our highly prized Windmill Farms store is a local magnet for afficionados of its wide variety of fresh produce and health foods.
We are minutes away from all the amenities of San Diego proper, but at the same time this neighborhood gives no hint of being buffeted by the hurly-burly commotion of the inner city, nor the emptiness of some far-flung suburban tract.
