"Avenue C and other Avenues."
We usually find parking on one of the Avenues when we go to the beach. All the Avenues are charming streets with interesting homes. The homes have lots of character. You see people carry surf boards and beach towels. It truly feels like a beach community.

"small beach town with friendly neighborhoods"
Every "Avenue" (A thru H) street in South Redondo Beach is a very special place. Friendly neighbors, family oriented - some houses have been passed down three generations. Where else can you easily walk to the beach or Riviera Village to eat or shop. The worst thing is its 20 minutes from any freeway the BEST thing is its 20 minutes from the Freeway. I moved here from the midwest and living in S. Redondo always felt like I was on vacation - well I've been on vacation then for 30 years.
Pros
- relaxed and friendly
- Great Beaches
- Great Schools
- Great Living
