"Nice and Residential"
The Park Merced San Francisco neighborhood is a nice, residential development for individuals associated with San Francisco State University. While the nearly-suburban location - with city taxes and all - may not be every city dweller's dream, the neighborhood does offer accessibility to nearby Lake Merced, as well as an ideal location for anyone who attends or works at the university.
Given that it is on the Southwest side of the complex, it is not as much of a parking lot as its neighbors further north. However, it is still fairly well-trafficked given its proximity to the school, and does not feel quite as residential and some may like. One bonus is the nearby Lake Merced.
Be forewarned - this section of San Francisco has a propensity to get COLD - especially in the summer (believe it or not). Bring layers if you are coming from anywhere outside the city, and you should be fine.

"Cute Neighborhood"
Juan Bautista Circle is in the middle of a lovely development in the southwest portion of San Francisco, right next to San Francisco State University. The area is great if you work for SFSU - but not so exciting otherwise. While there are very few homes ON the circle itself, it does offer a lovely park-like green space, which gives a central communal feel for the residents. If you are in a motor vehicle and visiting SFSU, this is also a great area to find parking - as long as you adhere to the one-hour-only rules.
The biggest problem with this road is the driving - one extra turn and you may very well get disoriented and head in the opposite direction of where you need to be. This is the nature of roundabouts and can be avoided with some solid planning and a good map. GPS units tend to hate this street and its turning, confusing nature.
Other than that, it is a nice spot for local residents of this community and even has a Montessori School. Like the rest of western San Francisco, this is one more lovely green space to go to.

Bucareli Dr
"nice location for students, families"
Bucareli Drive is one of the nicer streets in Parkmerced. The common areas tend to be well kept and the apartments are ok, albeit slightly dated inside and outside. This is still a nice neighborhood, though. For students, you are extremely close to the SFSU campus. For families, especially those on a fixed income, as these apartments are *somewhat* more affordable than the rest of very expensive SF, this street is close to a central courtyard that is a great place for families to walk and kids to play. This neighborhood is also close to Lake Merced, so it is a great location.

"community park and playground"
Juan Bautista Circle is a roundabout in the middle of the Parkmerced apartments. In the center is a large courtyard or park for use by the residents. There is also a Montessori school for children. It is really nice to have a large green space like this so close to the city, it also gives a sense of community for apartment residents to have an area like this to enjoy. The park is a great place to walk or picnic in the summer.
