"Where the new mixes with the old"
Colorado Avenue travels east/west in the small town of Strasburg, and unless the high school is just starting or letting out, the street is pretty quiet. All the schools, which are grouped together are located here on the east end. There are several older homes which look as if they've been around for a while, and also several newer ones which are very nice and well tended. The local rec center is within walking distance as are several restaurants, a gas/convenience store, and the bank.
As with many streets in small towns there are no real sidewalks and you can often see kids riding their bikes down the street or people taking a walk. This seems like a very safe area and nice and green in the summertime.
