"A Long and Varied Street"
The length of Dot ave is a very diversified traverse. There are many bars and restaurants mostly representing the various ethnic groups in the area. There are many useful stores and the local train and bus routes are quite dependable. It is not always the safest area in the city, particularly late at night. A lot of new buildings have been built here in recent years.
Dorchester Ave
"Exciting without a second thought"
An exciting street without a second thought,For my friends it was probably the best, all because it had those bars(We had to stop for a drink or two,my friends that is) and some nice neighborhood as well and we witnessed some different people there compared to other streets(It is said lot of communities of people live there),And also i ate different food there,It was a kind of Asian market(don't remember what i ate..the dish that is..lol) with different categories of food.Good place overall.

Dorchester Ave
"A better street than the neighborhood around it"
I like Dot Ave as it is known to locals. There are parts of it that are run down and less than attractive. However, it has some high points including a Vietnamese section that has some very good Vietnamese food. There are also a couple of Irish bars, including the Blarney Stone, which have a good crowd and are a nice place to get a drink. Despite some of the surrounding neighborhood being less than nice Dot Ave feels safe and clean.

"Dorchester's Main Street"
Dorchester Ave. is a very long street that runs through Boston's very large Dorchester neighborhood. There is so much culture on this street as it reflects the many cultures of Boston. The people vary in their kindness. One the street there is an elementary school, health clinic, and several shops. Also once a year the residents of Dorchester all gather here for the annual Dorchester Day Parade which is so much fun.
