"3rd Avenue and E. 148th Street the Best Part"
E. 148th Street is primarily made up of department stores and other commercial places with some residential buildings thrown in. The corner of 3rd Avenue and E. 148th Street is very interesting. If you traveled there you will marvel at the way the block was designed. It is like a semi-circle, without being a circle. There are many stores in this area. This is where most people flock to when they want to shop.
After you pass 3rd Avenue and head for St. Anns Avenue, you will run into a school and a bunch of boarded up buildings. This area is really ugly looking.
The other side of E. 148th Street is the home of the College of New Rochelle and has many small stores including a CVS.
