"Good Place For All Cultures"
1.) I Love 167th Street ( East ). Even Though its kinda dirty in some of the streets its a very friendly neighborhood. Another Thing i Like is That there are a lot of people from different Countries. So You Will See a lot of people wearing there Traditional clothing. I Lived there ever since i was Born Now Im 12 and I Still Love It. We Have A park Called " Mullaly Park" and It a Park that is very Big ! I Live Right Near it . Mullaly has a park for kids andd babies too it two parks then when you go straight there are two soccer fields and a sprinklers park for kids to get wet. Then You cross a street and there are Benches to sit and then when you go straight there is a basketball court and then to left is another set of Sprinklers to Get wet. Then You Go straight and you see a playground for teens it has swings a spiny wheel a musical stepper and a spiny chair . Its a whole load of Fun.
2.) The schools that i Know In 167th Street are P.S 114x A.K.A Luis Lorens Torres Children academy its k-5. Then there IS P.S/M.S 218 A.K.A Rafael Dual Language School it is k-8.
3.) we Have Street Or Block Parties During The Summer Mostly June on Saturdays where kids get to play and get fit and learn to make things.WHen Its Hot we let the fire hydrant on and let the kids get wet.
4.)Everyone is friendly. The major people there are Hispanic and Latin. There are Bengali's and Black People too.
5.Violence is kind of often but you wont see much during the day .
6. Its a Good Place to Live But Not for people who are fancy . Lols (:

"Essentially located to all needs"
I lived on East 167th Street in the Bronx with my parents for approximately 20 years. You can say that I grew up there. My parents still reside there and I go back there at least twice a month to visit them. This is a street that used to be very badly constructed, falling down houses, rodent infected. It was nothing for us to look out of our window at night and see hugh rats running up and down the street. Today however, due to new construction of houses and condominiums on my old block and in the surrounding area, it has become a beautiful place to live. On the main street (167th) which runs parallel to the Grandconcourse, there are many new business (grocery stores, check cashing stores, hardware stores, etc.) I no longer worry about my dad getting up every morning at 6am to go out and get the newspaper for my mom. It has become a safe place to live and they are still building in the area.
