"Dirty On One Side - Clean On The Other"
East 175th Street actually has two parts. One part covers a few blocks from 3rd Avenue to Carter Avenue. This area the street is unpaved and the area is very dirty. There are a couple of manufacturing facilities in the area that make it bad looking. There are two schools as well.
For the second part, this covers Anthony Avenue to the Grand Concourse. This area is made up primarily of residential apartments. Not much else. The street only covers four short blocks. It does have a great day care center for mothers with kids.
