"The place to be!"
This street has it all! Not only does it have super easy access to the 55, which will get you absolutely anywhere, but, if you are leaving home and heading for the beach, you get to avoid the area where the 55 ends and dumps on to Newport Boulevard, which is where there is always a traffic jam.
Despite being seconds by car from tons of restaurants, movie theaters, grocery and drug stores, bars, the beach and shopping, 18th Street is very quiet and clean. The homes are very well kept and the neighbors are friendly.
Nearby Hoag Hospital is one of the absolute best hospitals in Orange County. So, if you ever attempt to sample every one of the hundreds of beer the nearby Yardhouse offers, it will be a quick ambulance ride to get your stomach pumped!
18th Street is a great place to live! The ocean breeze prevents the weather from getting too hot in this area and in the winter…well, it is Southern California – what winter? Although to purchase in this area is pricey, if you can find a great place to rent, it might be worth giving up the dream of being a home owner!
