"Arkansas Lane, an east-west artery through Arlington,Tx"
Arkansas Lane begins on the eastern shore of Lake Arlington in Arlington, Tx. On this western end of the street homes, single family and multidwellings form an older, established community within walking distance of a major Golf Course and retail estalishments for goods and services and a major thoroughfare, the Green Oaks Loop. Arkansas lane continues through old neighborhoods established on its northside and new gated communities developing on the southside of the street; through light commercial industries, plant and garden nurseries, neighborhood stores and shops, interspaced with schools, parks and churches. As its runs parallell to a major street, Pioneer Parkway, (303) it affords the availability of more and larger stores, shops and services. Through the center of Arlington, Arkansas crosses major streets, Cooper and Collins, still older neighborhoods, more ethnic shops and stores and endis after it crosses Highway 360 and deadends into Greater Southwest Parkway, the western edge of Arlington's neighbor, Grand Prairie, Tx
