South Cooper St
"Great place to shop"
Cooper street has several awesome restaurants including Hibachi Sushi, which is amazing by the way! Great place to go to on a date. The street itself needs some construction since the traffic can be really bad. People tend to run red lights often because the traffic lights take a long time to change.

"Main throughfare, heartbeat of city"
Cooper St runs the length of Arlington, Tx. If you start in the middle you can trace the history of the city as it spread out in either direction to accommodate its growth. From its southern beginning at Highway 157, (incidently, Cooper St is business 157 as is Collins St, the major street to its east.) to its ending at Green Oaks Blvd on the north, Cooper is new residential area interspersed with blocks of retail establishments, a major mall, old residential areas, major University complex, retail establishments, hospital district, old wealthy residential areas and many schools, churches, medical facilities, and parks at points along the way. The street is well maintained, clean, busy, bustling and an adventure in travel when you can make the time to avail yourself of its charm.
