"The U-District has Something Fun for Everyone!"

The U district in Seattle is one of the more fun places in town to hang out. It has great restaurants of every type, and entertainment is available in the form of night clubs with great music and interesting movie houses. University of Washington is a great school, and it's main campus is located here. Libraries, ethnic grocery stores, boutiques, and bookstores line the blocks- there's something for everyone. The cost of everything from housing to a glass of beer also seems more friendly than in other neighborhoods in Seattle.I frequently take out of town guests to wander around the U-District for something of local Seattle flavor.

"A lovely little neighborhood to raise a family."

Beacon Hill is a wonderful place to call home. For both the young and older people. This community comes together and you usually know all of your neighbors there. I grew up here from elementary school through middle school and up until highschool. I also moved back after the birth of my son because I missed the closeness and hopsitality of my neighbors and friends. I now still to this day talk to my childhood friends i met there who have moved back as well. Our children are now friends too. Its a great place to always call home and feel safe their too.

"Pike Street is the center of the Seattle experience."

Pike Street is the place for eating, shopping, walking, sightseeing, and taking pictures. You can spend sometime relaxing in the park while taking in the breathtaking scenery. When you get hungry there are there are many restaurants to choose from. Pikes Market is populated by tourists, but never overrun. The people who work here have what seems like endless enthusiasm and joy for their particular trade, be it seafood, produce or tiny handmade wallets. There are great deals to be found all over the place, and without many grocery stores nearby, one of the only sources for cheap and fresh food in downtown Seattle.

"The Center of the Universe"

You may think I am kidding when I say that Fremont is the center of the universe, but there is an actual street sign located in Fremont that boasts of this. At the same time, Fremont is also home to a troll carved in the rocks under the Fremont Bridge who jealously clutches a Volkswagon Beetle and stares at you through his shiny hub cap of an eye. Yes, Fremont is by far the most ecclectic and diverse of all neighborhoods located within seattle. Home to many starving artists because of its low cost of living, the creativity within this little community has definitely spilled out into the streets quite literally. A great place to explore with your significant other or even your children, Free=mont has wonderfully inventive little shops and fabulous cafe's each with their own little niche.

"Quiet, Relaxing Maple Leaf a great place to raise kids."

Maple Leaf is a fantastic location to live in Seattle. It has a little of everything but is located perfectly in relation to other neighborhoods so that anything that is unavailable in Maple Leaf is within easy reach. Close to Fremont for bars and nightlife, close to Northgate for plenty of shopping options and close to Greenlake for a picturesque walk. Maple Leaf is also close enough to Downtown, with great public transport, so that it is easy to get there. Overall, it is the fact that Maple Leaf is quiet, serene and safe, but still with lots to do, that makes it a great place to raise kids or to enjoy the peaceful life with loved ones.

"A colorful Seattle Neighborhood"

If you're looking for a neighborhood bustling with activity, Capitol Hill is a great fit. Broadway, the main drag, is home to several bars, restaurants, and shops. There is something for everyone here, from late night clubs and eateries to used bookstores, coffee houses to jogging paths. The colorful crowds make for great people-watching. Capitol Hill prides itself on its diversity and rich night life. It seems that there is always something going on, such as the much-loved Capitol Hill Block Party, showcasing popular bands from around the world. Volunteer Park boasts the Asian Art Museum and a conservatory with fascinating plants. There is always something to do and see on Capitol Hill.

"Queen Anne Hill neighborhood is welcoming and friendly, it's a perfect place to start a family."

My favorite detail about the Queen Anne Hill neighborhood located in Seattle, Washington is the greenery. The streets have so many trees lined up and down the driveways and side walks. Its really pretty and soothing. Its a nice place to take a safe walk by your self or with your kids or dogs. Most of the neighbors treat their lawns like a work of art so there are beautyful perinials and annuals blooming in summer and spring. There is also a small old town grocery store that is the cutest and has all the supplies you need so you don't have to drive out of your way to Safeway everytime you need sugar or coffee. If you want to live in a welcoming communitty that cares for their lawns, homes, and neighbors you should move into the QueenAnne Hill neighborhood.

"The peaceful island just a ferry ride away from Seattle"

Bainbridge Island is a peaceful thirty minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle. Taking the ferry is simple and easy and many people use the ferry to commute to Seattle every day. Bainbridge Island has the advantage of being near a big city combined with all the natural wonder of living on a rural island. The island is beautiful and scenic with lovely views of the water and downtown Seattle. The shops and restaurants are wonderful and strolling through downtown is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. There are also many beautiful spots to hike, to bike and to observe the local wildlife. The people go out of their way to be friendly and there seem to be a lot of housing options.
