"One of the nicer mid-sized streets to live on in JC"
I've lived on many streets in JC, and this is one of the few streets that aren't microscopic side streets or parts of more private communities that is pretty nice to live on. The neighbors are friendly, there are more trees for shade on Ege than on most JC streets, the street is also cleaner than most, and it is close to bus stops, Hudson Mall, and the LightRail station. However, this street has recently had crime trouble in the past fall. One day while walking home I was mugged and my bag was stolen. Fortunately, I was able to go to a neighbor's house to call the police and take refuge and another neighbor who heard me scream ran after the teen criminals and frightened them into returning my digital camera, the only thing valuable in the bag. The rest of my possessions were worthless, thrown aside by the criminals, and found later. I was fine and I was very thankful for the generous and kind neighbors on my street.
