"El Prado, San Diego"
El Prado in San Diego is home to the Timken Museum of Art, located in Balboa Park. The great thing about Timken Museum is admission is always free and it is unlike any other museum in the city, in my opinion. The museum features European old master paintings, Russian icons and American art constitute the primary focus of the collection that you can browse for hours.

"Beautiful parks and museums"
There's a ton of museums along this road, from the San Diego Museum of Art, to a Model Train museum, a Natural History Museum, and the Museum of Man. Lots of places to spend a day if you're looking for something to do, or to bring a friend if they're visiting from somewhere else. In addition, there's some gorgeous parks around here as well. The trails are beautiful, and there's even a Japanese Friendship Garden!

"Art museum and park"
There are a few nice parks here that all run together like one big park but my main interest is the museum. It's really cool to have a nice park to relax in or have lunch near the museum and make a day of it. The San Diego museum of art is a museum for all kinds of art. I especially like it since you can view all styles of art and not just modern or classical, etc. There is a small fee to get in most days but you can get in for free on Tuesday. The art changes a few times a year. The museum is large and old and has a nice selection of Spanish paintings. The Timken Museum of Art is also on this street and has some nice contemporary art but is much smaller. Almost forgot the museum of man, which is all about mankind and the photography museum for a different form of art.
