"Right on the ocean"

Harbor Drive is a beautiful street RIGHT along the ocean. As you drive down, you can see the huge ships docked along the side of the harbor, which is always fun. In addition, it's right next to the airport, so there's always a ton of traffic (and crazy drivers). So, despite the beautiful view, if you can avoid driving down this street, I'd recommend it.

"Beautiful parks and museums"

There's a ton of museums along this road, from the San Diego Museum of Art, to a Model Train museum, a Natural History Museum, and the Museum of Man. Lots of places to spend a day if you're looking for something to do, or to bring a friend if they're visiting from somewhere else. In addition, there's some gorgeous parks around here as well. The trails are beautiful, and there's even a Japanese Friendship Garden!

"Awesome for shopping"

There's a ton of businesses lined up along Friars Rd. From the Sears Outlet nearby to the Fashion Valley Mall (with both a Cheesecake Factory and a PF Chang's China Bistro...yum!) and a ton of clothing stores available. It's a pretty road / drive, too, next to a large, green, golf course.

"Major Street running parallel to the 163"

Linda Vista Rd. is a large street in San Diego that runs right by the University of San Diego and several major shopping centers, the post office, etc. It runs parallel to the 163, and later the 8. Sometimes it can be faster to travel on some of the other side streets, however, rather than this one, as it has quite a few lights and traffic.

"Beautiful street with huge homes"

A short street in a resedential area, Entra De Luz West is in the middle of a natural area with lots of trees and beautiful nature. The homes here are absolutely gorgeous (and expensive), as well. I love driving through this area looking at the giant estates and their gorgeous landscaping!

"So gorgeous"

This little cul-de-sac is located right in the middle of a very upscale neighborhood. With lots of trees and gorgeous houses, I wish I could live in this area! I drive around here every so often just to pick up the flyers for the homes on sale and dream. Such a beautiful area.

"Crowded street with residential areas and some businesses"

Well, Front street is centrally located and connects with the 5 all the way down to Harbor. It's kind of crowded, however, and getting anywhere on it can take a while. I really wish they'd repair the street, for one thing, as it's filled with cracks. Though it's kind of pretty with the palm trees lining the sides of the streets.

"Hit hard by the home crisis."

I'm afraid the economy hit this neighborhood really hard. Property values here have really fallen recently, and there's a slew of "for sale" signs on homes on this street for sale. Really not what I'd call an upscale neighborhood...what with the chain link fences and a bit run-down looking homes. But it might be good for if you're looking for a starter home?

"Gorgeous View"

Seriously, the places here are just a stone's throw away from the ocean and beach. Though a lot of the properties have lost value after the recent market crash, the homes and townhomes here still have gorgeous views and are right by the park. Beautiful street to live, with a fresh sea breaze.

"Okay Cul-de-sac. Not the best, though."

Mayberry St. is a short cul-de-sac located in San Diego right next to the freeway and 43rd street. The street is pretty narrow, and there's always a bunch of cars parked to the side, so you have to be careful when driving or biking. Not the place to live if you're really interested in peace and quiet, since it's pretty noisy, being right next to the freeway. My friend has a place here and it's okay...but definitely not the best street in San Diego.
