"A great street for family, quiet! Great place to live!"
Great street, older homes built in the 50's but most/many have been remodeled. (3-5 bedroom homes, classic suburbia! The homes for the most part are very well kept as usual and the neighborhood streets are great for evening or morning walks and is only 5 minutes away by foot from Maywood City Park which is great for kids, barbecues, kites, field sports etc.
The street is a mix of older retired "empty nesters" with a scattering of new/young families as well. Great place to raise kids, 5 minute walk from a great Santa Clara Elementary school called Sutter Elementary!
Neighbors are all very friendly and the neighborhood stages a 4th of July block/neighborhood party every year.
Hazelwood is 5 minutes from several grocery stores so pretty conveniently located as well as being about 5 minutes or so from an expressway and freeway so ingress/egress is pretty easy.
