"Runs along the waterfront."

Although John Street is heavy with large industrial plants at one end, it does have some redeeming qualities. You do not want to walk alone in this neighborhood at night, but driving through during the day won't hurt. Some of the older brick buildings here have a lot of charm and potential and you are very close to the Brooklyn Bridge.
