Kingsland Ave
"On Grandparents Ave"
I thought I was confused when I came to Grandparents Avenue, but of all of the streets in New York City, I consider this one to have the best name! Ironically, there were a lot of grandparents here, at least on the day I visited. There are a lot of nice homes and brownstones with stoops, which is something I love about Brooklyn. There's nothing like a 3 story walk up! I thought that this was a lovely street in lovely Williamsburg, and think that if you're looking for a place to live in the city, please consider Grandparents Avenue!

Kingsland Ave
"Quiet area for renting."
The bottom part of this street in the Greenpoint neighborhood mostly consists of warehouses. It has a utilitarian vibe to it and is not the best place to visit. However, the neighborhood is safe and quiet, and close to subway stations and retail shopping venues. I would recommend taking a stroll further up Kingsland Ave, where it becomes more of a quiet residential neighborhood, if searching for a place to live.
