Lake Washington Blvd
"Beautiful scenic drive with some of the area's best Asian food!"
Traveling along the outer perimeter of Lake Washington is Lake Washington Boulevard. This street provides a nice scenic drive that is a little stop and go on traffic. It's great that the scenery is so pretty because the drive is slow. For a relaxed and romantic date spot, Ruby Asian Dining is located at the 200 block of Lake Washington Blvd. Ruby's is delicious and one of the most popular Asian dining destinations in Seattle. It offers an ecclectic mix of Chinese and Thai food that is to die for. The cocktails are also great - try the mango cosmo or the Thai martini! Most of the entrees are under ten bucks, so this is a great place to go if you're on a budget.
Traveling south on Lake Washington Blvd will take you on into Leschi Park which is another bonus of this scenic drive. On the warm summer weekends, be prepared to drive very slow due to traffic.

"Lake Washington Boulevard - The Most Scenic Route in Seattle"
It's true! This boulevard, much as the name implies, travels along the perimeter of Lake Washington. there are ample places to stop and take in the sights along with dining and shopping destinations as well. Much like the rest of Washington State, this road is beautifully maintained and the landscaping is also well-maintained with beautiful, mature trees. Naturally it does get fairly busy so be prepared to drive slowly and take in the sights. If you're in a rush, please take the highway but if you want a gorgeous drive around a beautiful lake, drive on down Lake Washington Boulevard!

"The best place to reach zen"
This was the are that I spent most of my childhood. Lake WAshington Blvd is the most peaceful walk I have ever enjoyed, next to Seward Park that is, but they're connected, so it's almost the same thing! This is the richer or upper class area and it's right on Lake Washington, the largest lake in Washington State. There aren't very many cars, but there are a lot of joggers, cyclists and people out for a stroll. The view is gorgeous, especially on a sunny day or on a full moon night when the light is reflected back to you and coats the water in a soft glow. My favorite part about Lake Washington Blvd, is that it leads you to Seward Park which is the last place in Seattle to be developed, and it won't ever be. It's the one are in Seattle that will never be developed because of the deal struck when it was donated to the city. It's this large peninsula in the lake and it's almost like a little wilderness. It has an amphitheatre where they host summer concerts and festivals and people go there to barbecue and take their boats and jet skis out. It's a beautiful and majestic area, and if you go anywhere in Seattle, you have to visit Lake Washington Blvd and walk all the way to Seward Park and explore our mini wilderness!

Lake Washington Blvd
"A BEautiful Drive With Nice Places to Stop"
Lake Washington Boulevard as the name implies, run along the west shore of Lake Washington. Begin just south of the University of Washington and drive through the Washington Arboretum. You'll want to get out an walk around when the rhododendrons are in bloom. Continue south through charming neighborhoods and along the lake itself. Best avoided during Seafair (August) when the hydros are running unless you like driving in crowds.

And another must-stop is the Arboretum. I personally love the walk to the canal and watch the yachts, but that is but 1% of the park :).
