"Enjoy todays commodities with a bit of historical flare"
Main Street in Santa Ana is known to have a little bit of everything for everyone. It’s impossible to ignore that there is a whole lot to see driving down Main Street which stretches through various cities like Orange, Santa Ana and Costa Mesa. From museums to shopping malls, plazas with grocery stores and fast food, café’s, small clothing boutiques and restaurants there is plenty to get into. Sometimes the traffic is frustrating to deal with but it comes with the territory of having such a retail saturated street. There are times were the overwhelming crowds closer to Downtown Santa Ana in the Artist Village flood the streets during the day walking from store to store or gallery to dining spot. But with the bad there is always some good. One of the most charming things I like about Main Street is the architecture in and around the Artist Village area which includes the cross streets between Civic Center Dr. to about 1st Street. If you take a moment to look past the crowds and traffic and appreciate the buildings and the designs found along Main Street there is some rich history to be found. Amidst the strip malls, centers and plaza’s it’s nice to find locations that display an interesting character with their exterior façades. If architecture is something you appreciate I definitely recommend taking a trip down Main St.

"Everything is on Main Street!"
There are so many different things to do on Main Street. Some of the best include the Discovery Science Center, The Bowers Museum, and Main Place Mall. The shopping at Main Place is great. The street becomes very slow around rush hour, so I wouldn't recommend traveling on it between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. Find another route unless you don't mind sitting in traffic and people watching!

"Main Street in Santa Ana, California"
Main Street in Santa Ana, also known as "Artist's Village" is home to museums, theaters, galleries and restaurants galore. My favorite being the Bower's Museum and Bowers Kidseum at 2002 and 1802 N. Main Street. Residents can enjoy free admission on the first Sunday and third Tuesday of each month. Though all visitors will enjoy the cultural and learning aspect that the Bowers Museum conveys in its art on display. This is a great day-trip with or without the children.

"Life of the city!"
Main Stree in Santa Ana is where the life of the city. Here is where the malls, the hospitals, and various restaurants, fast food stops, and other little shops are located. You can find anything on this street. Although it gets crowded sometimes during rush hour, there are many backstreets that are parallel to Main St. and can be used if necessary.
