Melrose St, Bushwick

Pretty family-friendly street, lots of local residents and some new younger ones as well. Surprisingly quiet. Like any Brooklyn street, occasionally you'll witness some "unsavory" activity, but Melrose is overall a very nice place to walk and to live!

This street is chalked full of businesses, and some are a little nicer than others. I was pleasantly surprised to find this street on one of my trips to Brooklyn. You'll find a lot of services including laundry and grocery stores, as well as more services oriented shops and businesses. All in all, I thought that this was a nice street in Brooklyn, convenient, and nice located. It was a little noisy, though.
