"Myrtle Street is Cozy"
Myrtle Street is conveniently right in the middle of state buildings. For those interested in African American History, the Boston Museum is right in our backyard. This street is also in walking distance of the famous Boston Common, where you can find great food and boat rides. The Orpheum theatre is also close by for some added entertainment. JP Licks ice cream and a series of Cafes make this location one where entertainment and food is never ending. The Jamaica Pond Lake is a great place to see a variety of parades and cultural events.

"beautiful historic homes"
Myrtle street has some beautiful, and historic homes. Walking down this street gives you a great feel for the history of Boston. The majority of the homes are made of brownstone, and are home to very friendly people. It is a quiet street, that is very clean. The English architecture on the homes, is beautiful, but also tells you that their is a lot of history in Boston. It is great that Boston has maintained its great American history because Boston is where America began. They homes do not look old, they have a modern look to them that is suiting to the neighborhood. Overall, the homes on this street have a high ranking beauty, that cannot be compared to anywhere else. There are many things that you will only find here in Boston.

"Walk One of the Most Famous Hills in America"
Myrtle Street crosses Beacon Hill. This is the way I walked for a few years from work in downtown Boston to my apartment on Beacon Hill. I had to cross over the entire hill, so Myrtle was a natural choice. I worked in the evening, so it was lovely to walk by the windows of people's homes, these historic and very famous brownstones, and be able to peek in when the curtains were parted and see the gorgeous furnishings. One place in particular had the kitchen on the street level and the window always offered a perfect view of a kitchen you'd expect to see in a restaurant or on TV. It is a hilly street as it is not on the fringes of the hill, but very walkable.
