"Upscale Shopping At Its Finest"
This posh street has eight blocks that are absolutely jam-packed with luxury shopping. Although there are your typical upscale chain stores, ie Coach and BCBG, a variety of unique little boutiques is what really makes this place stand out. A few stores can be found here that are tough to find anywhere else in the states--Topshop comes to mind. If you can take a step back from all the dazzling fashion, the buildings themselves are gorgeous old brownstones that exude charm. There are few good cafes with outdoor seating, which makes for a great location to people-watch all day long (maybe you'll even see a few of the stars!)

Newbury St
"Money, Money, Money"
Newbury Street is about being rich and spending money. From one end to another are a variety of high end chains as well as smaller boutiques primarily geared at those who do not need to ask how much things cost. It is a great street for people watching with the wealthy and tourists mixing together in this consumption driven drive. There are a handful of good restaurants along the way including Stephanie's which is well knows for its Sunday brunch. Best of all Newbury street ends into the Boston Public Garden a free and beautiful garden which ironically sits at the end of this pricy street.
Newbury St
"Yes It's Beautiful But"
Well I agree a great deal, I have to admit I like Newbury Street and it's lovely, although *majorly* overpriced. Years ago I remember a friend paying something like 300 dollars for a set of sheets for her bed and I know some wouldn't flinch at it (pillowcases included) but I certainly did at the time. I enjoyed the little restaurants/cafes a lot. It compares somewhat to Columbus Avenue in New York; lots of young/rich types, still friendly. Much more comfortable if you have money than not, certainly.

Newbury St
"Boston's Shopping District"
Newbury Street in Boston is the place to be if you want to do some serious shopping. For years Newbury st. has been known for it's high end boutiques, shops, and restaurants. But it's also more than a shoppers playground. On Newbury street you will also find two high schools and a beautiful open park.
The people along the street and in the shops are friendly and kind. Newbury Street is easily accessed by public transportation via trolley, train, or bus. You can also get there by car although parking is limited and lots along he street can be pricey.
