North 400 West
"A taste of two worlds."
400 West in a very interesting location, because it hosts two extremely different worlds. On the one hand there is the extreme poverty displayed at pioneer park and the homeless shelter. Then right next door is the Lavish new outdoor mall. The Gateway mall is full of very expensive shops. There are plenty of activities for the community including a childrens museum, a planetarium, and a movie theater. There are many fine dining restaurants inside the mall as well. Inside the mall the atmosphere is very pleasant, but you have to feel a little guilty wasting money on lavish meals and expensive shoes when directly across the street are people who do not have enough money to live.
There are many homeless people sleeping at the park throughout the day. It is always a nice feeling when you see the local charities out serving these people food or offering them clothing.
