North West Temple
"A Good Place to Walk Around"
NW Temple, like the other streets around Temple Square, is a busy street and can be a difficult place to find parking. However, once you are out of your car, it is a nice place to walk. The LDS Family History Libray is right across the street from the LDS Temple and Visitor's center. Further down the street, you can visit the 'new' LDS Conference Center which has beautiful gardens. Unlike many downtown streets, this one is clean and there is a feeling of safety (at least, I didn't feel like I was going to get mugged). Since this is right downtown AND the center of the Mormon faith, there are frequently a lot of visitors to this area, so watch out for crowds, particularly in the Summer and around the Christmas Holiday.
