North High St, Worthington

High St/Route 23 is one of the major street in Columbus. It starts at 270 on the south side, and travels north through the heart of the city. This street has seen many changes over the years, including residential and commercial development and decline. Since the flagship Lazarus store closed several years ago, the downtown portion of High Street is not the same. The City Center Mall is now a white elephant, but The Short North is doing very well. Suburban growth, north of 270/Worthington area is phenomenal. High St passes OSU and its sprawling urban campus. It's a street that includes close residential neighborhoods like German Village and Clintonville. It's such a familiar street that most residents of the Columbus urban area have travelled on it one time or another..
