"Nice park for some alone time"
I stumbled across this park a few years back after working in the Placentia for awhile. To this day I still like to find time to visit Tri City Park and just relax or unwind with a good book or some good company. I don’t consider Tri City to the typical location to bring along kids if keeping them occupied with swing sets and playgrounds is what you’re looking for because there are no playgrounds or swing sets at this park. The parks perimeter is surrounded by homes and condos and seems to provide more of a place to exercise or a recreational area to enjoy for picnics and quiet afternoons. I’ve visited the park during the day and sometimes in the evening and it has always seemed safe and serene. One of the more charming features of the park I enjoy most is the small lake which seems to be the focal point of Tri City. You can see families of ducks and geese waddling around the park or floating around the lake. If you live, work or plan to visit the Placentia area near Kramer Blvd. and Bastanchury Rd. you should make a quick pit stop at Tri City Park.
