"High-end Downtown Area"
Los Gatos has just about the nicest downtown area I have seen in Silicon Valley. Given that this is more of a residential town and less of a bustling commuter area, it lends itself to less traffic - without forgetting the wealthy Silicon Valley demographic.
The shops are relatively high-end retail, and include a Gap, an Apple Store, and a Gymboree, a fine art gallery, and a diamond shop. Of course, no proper Silicon Valley downtown neighborhood would be complete without a Pizza My Heart!
Parking isn't great, but I have seen worse.
