"Less Vibrant than its Northern Neighbor"
Santa Cruz Avenue in Los Gatos is bisected by Main Street, defining North from South. South Santa Cruz Avenue is on the fringes of downtown, and offers more parking options than it does eateries or shops. The street runs by some trees and quickly turns into Highway 17, the Santa Cruz highway.
There really is not much to be seen on this street, other than some parking spaces and a post office. If you have a few hours to kill in Los Gatos and would like to check out downtown, I would recommend parking here and heading north. This is quite a lovely town, overall.
