"Pleasant street with little to offer"
The homes on Phinney Ridge are nice single-family homes and can run a bit pricey for the area, but the residents seem to think that the area is better than it actually is. I rented a house here for a year and couldn't understand the almost snobbish attitude of the people and business owners. For a stretch of the road, there are a few shops, but nothing really stands out as unique. The location isn't bad, considering it's only a 15 minute trip to downtown, plus you have Ballard to the west, Greenlake to the east and Fremont just south. Most of the street is nicely populated with trees and flowers and it's got a fairly nice community center.
