"Smack dab in the heart of Pike's Place Market"
The quaint little Post Alley of Pike's Place Market offers one of the finest restaurants in Seattle if not Washington State. For those of you who don't know which restaurant I am talking about, it is the Pink Door! If you are in Pike's Market stop by for lunch or dinner and expect to be amazed. This place is a little cheesy with the provocative entertainment but the food is exceptional. They serve home grown Italian food. The little Alley in Pike's Market always amazes me, and as a local I don't frequent the area too often. Crowds of tourists flock to the Place and because of that many of the locals stay away.

"Postcard: The Real Pike Place"
I love farmer's markets, the suburbs always miss out on the quality and experience that is a famer's market. I think Pike Place is a cut above the all the rest. First is year round, and the suppliers make sure to carry the freshest local produce. When I get the opertunity to work within walking distance, I always have lunch on post ally. Piroshky Piroshky (Yes that the name) is really good russian pastries (kinda like hot pockets), also I recomend Beecher's Handmade Cheese, they have a great mac and cheese (kinda expensive). All in all, the market is for food, there are some nice shops, but their really just for tourists.
