Richmond Rd
"One Way street older homes and not to much traffic"
The one thing I like about one way streets is it has less traffic, alot quiter because less people use it. Its a short cut from Jefferson St to Richmond Rd. The sign that states its one way isnt always visible at Richmond, it gets knocked down frequently by you guessed it, wrong way drivers. The houses here are the older style, alot converted into doubles or triples, the yards are often small, crowded and not always looking that great. Fences are common, as owners wish to be seperated from the tennants I'am guessing. MacArthur Park is about a 15-20 minute walk, though I would not recommend doing night trips, it seems it can get seedy at night. Seaver from Zoe St to Mason runs both ways, but doesnt intersect with the one way part. Its more of an undeveloped area with some industry, and further down housing. The best part of the lower part is the tidal river that runs from the ball diamond down to the ocean, you can walk in it or thru it when the tide is out, though littered at times with junk its still facinating to see it go and return every 8 hours and 20 minutes!

Richmond Rd
"Very convenient location!"
When I drove down Steele Avenue in Staten Island, New York I noticed how many people were out and doing everything, everyday things like walking, socializing and just living. It was very nice to see how normal of a street this is! The homes looked nice and there are plenty of stores nearby for the residents. This is a good street.

"On Richmond Road"
Another street with convenience designed for the residents, Richmond Street, is quite simply home to many people. There is nothing remarkable here, and as landmarks and sights tend to dwindle as you climb further uptown, there seems to be an overall lack of things to do in terms of a touristy nature. For the residents, however, I thought that the street must be acclaimed for its convenience and overall nice vibe. All in all, a nice street for those that live there.

Richmond Rd
"Quite little street."
Just off Richmond Rd. you will find Locust Ave. a quite little street close to all shopping, schools and transportation.
The corner of Locust Ave. and Richmond Rd. has a dangerous turn she is a frequent spot for traffic accidents especially when cars drive above the speed limit on Richmond Rd.
The location is close to the train station and the bus which goes into New York City.
