Riverside Dr
"I love the views on this road!"
I used to drive this road to go to work every morning and the view across the river was always amazing. The road runs along the Scioto River and has huge mansions on both sides of the road. The view is amazing and the drive is fun. It runs by the park areas and is a great scenic drive for those who want a nice drive and interesting things to see. It runs by some areas by shopping centers.

"Riverside Dr/Rte 257 - Along the River"
Riverside Dr begins downtown and travels north along the east side of the Sciot River. As you drive this road, you will travel through Columbus, Grandview, Upper Arlington, Hilliard, Dublin, and Powell. It is similar to Dublin Rd in that therre are many interesting sites along the way - parks, marinas, a dam, residential areas, restaurants, shopping, and The Columbus Zoo. The people who are lucky enough to own one of the houses high on the bluffs overlooking the river have a great view. It is especially lovely in the autumn with all of the reds, golds, and yellows in the trees. If you are travelling from downtown to any of the suburbs mentioned above, this is one of the best drives to take.

"Riverside Drive: A Drive Through The Park"
Riverside Drive runs right along the Scioto River in Columbus. That fact leads to some really pretty views while driving through mature trees and passing older homes and apartment buildings. There are a few nice river side parks along the drive as well, and plenty of shopping and eating establishments too. One of my favorite stops on Riverside Drive, is my favorite birders' store, Wild Birds Unlimited. I also love to stop by either parks and feed the Canada Geese that make the parks their homes. Riverside Drive will take you from downtown Columbus all the way into the countryside of Delaware County. The Delaware County end of Riverside Drive is some of my favorite driving.

"The border...kind of"
Riverside drive is named so because it runs right along side the Scioto River. Driving on this road you will see a gorgeous view of the river and probably boats and people water skiing or jet skiing. But you will look over to the other side of the river and see the most gigantic houses you've ever seen right on the river. Whoever lives there can walk out their back door walk 20 yards and jump in the river. To the east you will drive by any number of roads that will take you back into nice good communities full of your average houses with sidewalks, driveways, front and back yards, people walking their dogs, kids playing in their yards. Just an all around good feel to it
