"Major highway with neighborly spirit"
Hampden goes all the way from the mountains to the city of Aurora. It is an interesting stretch of highway, where there is plenty of shopping available in the newly renovated Alexan City Center, places for the kids like Chuck E. Cheese, or other retail therapy for people who love to shop. There are plenty of good restaurants approaching the city of Aurora, from Aurelio's near I-25, to more well-known Tokyo Joe's near Logan. A great stretch of Road on the South side of Denver.

"More retail, but an easy drive"
East Hampden Avenue is an east/west street that runs through the southeast portion of the city and eventually winds and turns into Havana, a north/south street in the neighboring city of Aurora. From Broadway and heading east, Hampden borders parkways and golf courses and the prestigious neighborhood of Cherry Hills Village. Further east you will find numerous retail outlets and office space, the only downside being that the offices appear to have been built in the 1950s and 60s and look quite dated. One can easily access I-25 on Hampden, and past the highway you will find the aging Tamarac Square retail area, along with a couple of movie theaters. Keep driving and you will see Kennedy Golf Course and a miniature course before the street turns into Havana, home of auto dealerships galore.
