"An Eclectic Mix"
Stonewall Tell Road in Union City is an eclectic mix of residential and commercial; I should know, I drove that dimly lit road everyday for more than 5 years. There's one thing I have to say about Georgia being that I am a transplant like more than 60 percent of the current population. Why are there no street lights? For the most part, when the sun goes down on the southside of Atlanta, it is dark. Interestingly enough, there are street lights located by the police department on Stonewall Tell Road.
Because the street meanders, so do the homes, ergo so does the neighborhood. In certain sections of the street, older modest homes, set far back from the street can be visible through tall shrubs and old low lying trees. With the turn of a single corner, on the same street, is an entrance to a subdivision where the houses start at half a million. And if you keep going toward the Union City side, you will find city hall, the police department, a new state of the art daycare facility, and the Department of Family and Children Services.
