"Good area to raise a family"
Talk about ideal family living. The neighborhoods found along Sunkist street have always stood out to me because they seem to cater perfectly to potential home owners interested in finding a permanent place to raise their children. There hasn’t been one neighborhood that I’ve seen along Sunkist street that didn’t seem well kept and clean and there are a number of elementary school and Jr. high’s found near here which help to ensure residents are able to stay in the area for a long time while their kids finish school. The area I am most familiar with is near Juarez Park, which is right next to Benito Juarez elementary school. The Sunkist Library can also be found here on the corner of Sunkist and Ames Ave. There is heavier traffic during the morning drop off hours and afternoon pick up times but overall you will not be riddled with constant traffic jams in these neighborhoods. If you’re interested in knowing about your freeway access it’s not too great you do have to travel a bit to reach either the 57frwy or the 91 frwy over on State College Blvd. just past La Palma Ave. Even so I still feel like Sunkist St. has some great things to offer its residents.
