"Complete residential, nothing more"

I have friends who live on this street. It is only houses, nothing more. The only thing that is a little confusing is that Farragut breaks off for a golf course and some housing communities and then picks back up later on, but it is all called Farragut Street. I believe it was named after Admiral Farragut, if you are into history.

"Good street for shopping"

This is the street that the Broward Mall is on and if you follow it far enough east it leads into Downtown Fort Lauderdale where it gets more touristy with the shops and nightclubs. Towards the west past the Turnpike it gets into a more residential area. The street is not the same from east to west- but there is shopping at either end.

"A good street for getting east to west in Hollywood Florida"

I like this street, most of it is residential. The Joe Dimaggio Childrens Hospital is also on this street and my post office. Its usually low on traffic and easy to get from one place to another. I also find it interesting that in this spot of Fort Lauderdale there are a series of streets named for US Presidents in the order that they served in office. This street is actually named after Andrew Johnson. I think that the streets go up to Woodrow Wilson, they may end there, but I'm not sure.

"If you like noise, traffic, and stop lights, this is the street for you"

This is also State Road 441. It is mostly businesses of all kinds, especially car dealerships. There is a stop light at every intersection and chances are you will hit most of them. I have to drive this way to work every day and it takes twice as long to get home after 5pm as it does to get to work before 7am, but it isn't as quick as it should be either way.

"Nice side street"

Its just one lane each way along the canal. But some of the houses across the canal are pretty nice. It's not a street you would drive down for sight seeing or anything like that, but if you want to get from Griffen to US1 it's nice. There isn't usually a whole lot of traffic unlike everywhere else in South Florida.

"Not as great as it sounds."

Bass Pro Shop is nice, but the rest of the street is mostly warehouses. It's also called Ravenswood, which is probably doesn't sound as "sporty", but I think it is more appropriate.
It's not a bad street, but it just doesn't sound as good as its name.

"Better than most in Broward County Florida"

It has less traffic lights than Sheridan or Stirling (the other two main roads running east to west in that part of Broward County). Especially once you get out west past University Drive. Its the best way to get across Broward County other than I-595.

"Nice quite upscale neighborhood"

The street is actually kind of a cul-de-sac that ends in an apartment complex and a community of single-family homes. It is by a golf course and the landscaping is beautiful. There are lots of squirrels, iguanas, and birds. Its just a nice place to live.
