West Portal Ave
"A gathering of muni metro lines"
West Portal can be seen as the beginning of the gathering of all Muni Metro lines before they head off to downtown. This street, similar to Taraval or Ocean, contains convenient stores and food shops. Rite Aid, Walgreens, Starbucks, Noah’s Bagels, Goodwill, and more open up on West Portal Ave. Because this street leads to so many transfer lines, it is seen with many people whether it is leaving to go home or walking to get to work. The M line and the K line travel through this street before entering the underground tunnels. Perhaps because of this, the street is only wide enough to accommodate 2 lanes of traffic, at most, heading in each direction.

West Portal Ave
"West Portal - an enjoyable and vibrant street"
West Portal is a nice neighborhood located next to the exclusive St. Francis Woods area of San Francisco. On West Portal, there are various restaurants to choose from, a movie theater, the West Portal public library, and a childrens playground. There is the West Portal Muni station where the L, K, and M Muni streetcar lines converge at the station and head towards downtown. The street is usually filled with adults and students alike, catching the Muni home or buying something to eat. Some restaurants that one should try include Squat and Gobble, the Sub Center for submarine sandwiches, and Roti which serves Indian cuisine. Also there is a Starbucks, Walgreens, a Roundtable Pizza, and Rite Aid for convenience needs. I recommend the newly renovated West Portal library because of its nice patio to relax in and its wide variety of books. Personally, I enjoy walking around West Portal because of its small and homey neighborhood vibes and the beautiful trees that line the sidewalk.

West Portal Ave
"Shop till you drop"
On the roadways of San Francisco there is a street running very long. This street is called as the W Portal Avenue. It has a cool and a pleasant weather with fog in the air most of the time. People visit this street mainly for shopping purpose. There are wide ranges of shopping stores having a variety in grocery to accessories. Muni metro facility is also available for people to get across this street. Restaurants do offer some tasty gourmet to calm down hungry bellies.

W Portal avenue begins from the 14th avenue and crosses the !5th avenue at one of its points. It is quite a long and tiring street but travassing this street is simpler by taking the Muni metro that runs through the W Portal avenue. W Portal avenue is a shoppers paradise. You will find a whole a lot of stores here. If you get tired after shopping the next spot you must visit is the ‘Café For all reasons’ . Absolutely good variety of food is served in here not to forget the chicken picatta. This street guarantees your fun and enjoyment along this street.

West Portal Ave
"Cute small street with unique shopping and food."
West Portal Avenue is a small street with a lot of businesses on it. It runs from the multiple way intersection of Junipero Sera, Sloat, Portola and St. Francis to the train stop and Ulloa Street. This street contains many small stores that you could only find in San Francisco. It has great restaurants that are good for families, dates or anything. There are few houses on this street however you can live right off this street. It is located in a great neighborhood, everyone is friendly. 3 trains all run through this street, the K, the L, and the M line. It is a very popular place to take public transit from. Houses in this neighborhood are very expensive. I would definitely live here if I could because of its amazing atmosphere.

West Portal Ave
"Cute Street with a Good Feel"
There is a lot going on on this street. Muni runs right through it, so transportation to and from W. Portal is a cinch. There is also a movie theatre, lots of restaurants and specialty stores, tons of eyeglass stores, coffeeshops, salons, an independent toy store called Ambassador Toys and more. You could spend an entire day here, really, just walking around and shopping.
