East 92nd St
"Great Jewish Museum and 92nd Street Y"
East 92nd Street is a great place for an Jewish person looking for a fun and educational experience. That goes without saying that anyone can have a good time there as well. There are many hotels, shops, and dinning areas within a few blocks. However the two great places there are the Jewish Museum and the 92nd Street Y. The Jewish Museum is a wonderful place for anyone trying to learn about Jewish history, art, ritual, and culture. They currently have exhibitions on contemporary Jewish art and design, secular and religious video, culture and its continuity, and much more. The 92nd Street Y is a Jewish founded and based organization that has a lecture hall, a performance space, a school, a health center, and more. There mission is to help all people who their doors. They do this by holding all kinds of events and fundraisers. I would strongly recommend visiting both of these places to anyone.

"Great Contemporary African Art Gallery"
West 108th Street has an amazing contemporary African Art Gallery. I went there with a friend the last time I was in Manhattan. The gallery is exclusively African Art, so I would not recommend going if you expect otherwise. I thought it was a wonderful exhibit and really enjoyed it. I loved the diversity that I saw in the paintings. Viye Diba was the artist I enjoyed the most because I felt like I understood how his paintings expressed a message about social concerns. I would recommend this gallery to anyone who enjoys a nice relaxing day out in New York.

East 59 St
"Great inner city living or visiting!"
East 59th Street is a great overall location to live or visit. With several condos and hotels one has no problem finding a place to stay nearby. This is great location as it is only a short cab ride from ton of great attractions such as 42nd Street and 34th Street. Additionally, East 59th is just walking distance from Central Park if you ever feel like taking a stroll. This is a great location and from my experience there I would recommend it to anyone.

West 37th St
"W 37th: a great location"
West 37th Street is a pretty typical residential street. There are several great locations that are available for sale along the street. Along with a few shops and hotels, there are several good restaurants that you can find if you walk up and down a few blocks. The best part about staying on W 37th is the easy access to great attractions such as the empire state building and retail stores at 34th Street. Not to mention there is easy access to multiple forms of transportation. This makes a nice calm place to live or stay.

"Fun Street for Anyone"
Easy 34th Street is a fun place for singles, couples, families, and elderly alike. East 34th Street offers some great shopping and dining areas. There are also several hotels nearby allowing for easy access to the street. Additionally, East 34th Street has some great sights to see including: Macy's, Penn Station, and the Empire State Building. They give free 90 minute walking tours of the area if you are interested. The reason it is so fun is because there is something for everyone to do. Next time you are in the city you should certainly take a stroll down there.

Bowery
"All types of fun on Bowery!"
Bowery has a whole variety of fun options along its path. With numerous hotels one can stay in several places that are close to the action. One great option is the Bowery Ballroom which holds lots of great smaller music artists. I have been to one show there and loved it. Another great addition is the New Museum. Similar to the Museum of Modern Art this museum has all kinds of crazy new art. It really fun and they give great tours there. I would recommend to families, kids, and couples alike. There are also several places to get food in a close radius in case you get hungry.

West 46 St
"Come to W 46th Street to see (not so) Little Brazil"
Go visit West 46th Street if you want to see a street taken over and enriched by Brazilian business and culture. Nicknamed "Little Brazil", the West 46th Street area between 5th and 6th Avenue is covered in blue and green flags. With all kinds of Brazilian restaurants and stores, this area is a fun and delicious visit. My favorite restaurant of that area being Emporium Brasil. Their deliciously authentic food and nice bar area is a great lunch or dinner destination.

"Great place to see some wild art!"
If you have never been to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) on 11 West 53rd Street then I would highly recommend that you visit it the next time you are in the big apple. MoMA, as they call it, has some of the wackiest and most interesting exhibitions I have ever seen. With a wide variety of things, ranging from regular exhibitions to film and other multimedia, this museum is a must see. I had an amazing time there and did not want to leave. This makes a great place for singles, couples, and family.

"Perfect place for a crazy date!"
One of the oddest places that I have been to is the Museum of Sex on 28th street. Though it you may think it is raunchy, it is actually quit educational and interesting. Nonetheless, I would not recommend this families, kids, or the elderly. This could however be a fun and adventurous date for a couple. It was surely a new and exciting experience for me!

"W 52nd and 8th avenue is great place for a less rowdy Broadway show"
West 52nd street and 8th Avenue have two wonderful theaters for people who are looking to see a Broadway show but stay away from the more crowed and rowdy 42nd street. The Neil Simon Theatre and August Wilson Theatre have both been hosts to great numbers such as Hairspray, Music Man, The Kind and I, My Fair Lady, and much more. I saw Hairspray at the Neil Simon Theatre and truly enjoyed it. This makes an ideal day trip for families who are looking to have a fun and relaxing night out as well as couples who wish to do something romantic.
