East Indian Bend Rd
"Small Functional Road"
Indian Bend is not a very long road, but it has alot to offer. It runs under the Pima Freeway and into Native American territory. Along the road, there are a few nice well kept neighborhoods. There is also a very popular outdoor mall consisting of strip malls on either side of the street called The Pavilions. It has stores one would find in an indoor mall, restaurants, and a movie theater. Every Saturday, a car show is also held in the parking lot.

East Bell Rd
"Busy Retail Road"
Bell Road passes through middle class Phoenix and Tempe. There are many strip malls and restaurants. Going east, Bell road turns into Frank Lloyd Wright when it passes under the Loop 101. The road is decently kept even though the neighborhood it passes through is not the best or highest financially as others in Phoenix or Tempe.

South Priest Dr
"Kind of a bumpy ride"
Priest has had construction going on for a while now. It runs through what could be considered the back roads of Tempe. There are strip malls and older neighborhoods. There are also medical and law offices and older business parks. Priest passes through University Drive and Broadway. It is parallel to one of the busiest roads in Tempe called Mill Ave. It is a good alternative to avoid traffic on Mill.
East Cactus Rd
"A bit run down"
Cactus Road runs through the older parts of Scottsdale. The houses are a but more run down and the road itself is not as well maintained but it is still a nice neighborhood and street. There are more strip malls and ranch style houses on this road. Some of the houses have larger amounts of land. A few houses have been turned into mini ranches and have horses.

Northwest 24th St
"Kind of Run Down"
Like most of the roads that run East to West in Pompano, Copans passes by many of the older more run down neighborhoods more inland. This also leads to Copans passing through not so great neighborhoods lined with abandoned buildings, warehouses, pawn shops and factories. Of course, also like the other roads once it gets passed the Turnpike and I-95 going east, the neighborhoods get better. Though Copans doesnt travel as far east as the other roads, which doesnt give it much time to house better neighborhoods. It ends about where the Pompano Square mall is which was just recently renovated from a ghost town dead end shopping center to a higher end galleria of sorts.

Lyons Rd
"Very Nice Well Kept"
Lyons road has many different neighborhoods. It is, in my opinion, one of the most diverse roads when it comes to housing. There are many townhouse communities along with high end neighborhoods and middle class neighborhoods alike. There are also a few elderly living communities and even a few older neighborhoods. There is constantly renovation and new neighborhoods being built. Lyons road also passes by another high end private school called North Broward Prep. There are also many natural reserves that are protected so no construction can go on there.

Cypress Creek Rd
"Nice Business Road"
This is a nice road that is inhabited by mostly business parks and warehouses. It is well maintained and renovated. It passes through The Florida Turnpike and I-95 which are two major highways in Florida. Though there are also a few junk yards and government owned places, the road iis very nicely maintained and well renovated. There arent many residential areas along it.
North Powerline Rd
"Good for commuters and families... pretty much anyone"
Powerline road isn't the best road but its decent. It is a fairly major road in Broward County. Since it is a bit west, following the trends of Florida roads, it isn't as well maintained as others, but it's not horrible. It mostly runs past middle class neighborhoods and apartment buildings. There are also strip malls and restaurants. There are also a few townhouse communities along it. It's quite a diverse road going through many decent neighborhoods and sometimes serves as a back road to warehouses.

Northeast 14th St
"Great place for retirees"
14th street Causeway isn't a major road. It is not even a very long road, but its home to many 55+ housing facilities and apartment buildings. Many of them are on the water, facing the inter coastal. There isn't much on this road other than older neighborhoods and elderly living condominiums and apartment buildings. Though it is not an ideal place for younger people or families, it is a very nice are for retired or the elderly. It is not far from other main roads such as Federal Highway and A1A.

USS Hwy 441
"Decent residential street"
Though 62nd street isnt a major street in Pompano, it runs through a good portion of the middle class neighborhoods of Pompano Beach. The more east you go, the neighborhoods get nice and the overall feel of the street is more maintained and populated. It is even home to a very highly praised private school called Pine Crest. But, like many of the roads in Pompano, the more west you go, the more run down and 'warehouse roe' the street gets. There are a few strip malls that are well maintained, but once you get around where it crosses I-95, it gets down to hospitals and more older neighborhoods. All in all, this road is more for middle class families and commuting.

North Dixie Hwy
"Very run down"
Dixie Highway runs through the lower class areas that occupy the west end of Pompano. It runs parallel to train tracks on the west side. Most of the neighborhoods it passes contain original houses built earlier in the century (20th century that is). These neighborhoods are not very well maintained and appear to house the low income households of Pompano. Aside from run down neighborhoods, Dixie also houses many junk yards and ware houses. Pawn shops, private businesses such as law offices and manufacturing businesses are also along this street. The road itself is not very well taken care of and even the street lights and traffic signals are not renovated along with the rest of the city. All in all, I would not move here and even try avoiding having to go anywhere near this road.

"Decent Bustling Street"
Federal Highway is a busy street, one of the main roads in Pompano. It houses many office buildings, strip malls and boat yards. It also, like many main roads, branches off into private neighborhoods. There are many different types of places along this street. Most of the strip malls are of good quality and very well maintained. Many of the areas and restaurants along Federal Highway are or recently have been renovated. There are also a few schools and churches. There are a wide variety of restaurants, banks, private owned stores and other various businesses. In all, it is a very diverse road that continues through busy yet maintained areas of Pompano Beach.

"Great Diverse Street"
Of course, being the most eastern road in Pompano, means it is directly parallel to the beach which is one of the main attractions to South Florida. This also means it has to be well maintained since it has a heavy traffic flow of tourists and locals alike. A1A runs through a vast diversity of neighborhoods. Mostly good, quiet, family oriented neighborhoods. It also runs past many condominiums and hotels. Many of which have either been newly built or renovated. As well as the renovated ares of Pompano, it also passes by smaller original housed neighborhoods which are quickly being taken over by big companies to build hotels and high rises. These older neighborhoods also include many privately owned motels and Inn's that are also of original status. Though these neighborhoods are older and not as modern, they are still very safe and family friendly places.

Atlantic Blvd
"Busy, a bit run down."
Atlantic Boulevard passes through many diverse areas of Pompano Beach. Farther West, Atlantic is occupied by more warehouses and car dealerships. It runs through somewhat seedy areas of Pompano that are older and a bit more run down. Some places are down right bad neighborhoods with nothing but old run down neighborhoods and poorly kept coin laundry and "stop and shop" type stores. On the other hand, Atlantic East is very nice in a newer, more populated are of Pompano. Of course, locations closer to the beach are better maintained and frequently renovated due to mass tourism. Specially in Pompano. Overall, Altantic is a very diverse road.
