Vandewater St, North Beach

Vandewater is such a cute little street. It's super leafy with trees lined down it. You don't even feel like you are in San Francisco while you are on it. It's all residential. New condos were put up about 2-3 years ago. Parking is tight, because there is only parking on one side, but most folks have garage parking. The great thing about Vandewater Street is that there is literally a Trader Joe's, Walgreens and a Safeway within less than a block. You can't beat that with a stick.

Vandewater Street is a short, one way street located between Mason St and Powell St. There aren't any houses on this street, but there are apartments. The apartments are pretty modernized, they have a nice outer color and some of the apartments even provide parking. There are small trees planted along the sidewalk for a more green look. The reason Vandewater Street would be a great place to live because there is a school, a block away, and there is also a mini mall that includes a Safeway, Walgreens, and other shops. This street is also a short drive away from fisherman's wharf where there are arcade games, fast food, and seafood restaurants. There is also a exercise facility, which includes a park for toddlers, tennis courts, ping pong tables, basketball courts, swimming pool, etc.
