Redwood St
"A short and narrow street"
Redwood street is a very short street that starts at Van Ness Avenue and ends at Polk street. First of all, there are no redwoods located here, this street is actually in a business district. This street is located near the Supreme Court of California, the City Hall of San Francisco, and Civic Center Park. Although this street is not really special, it is near great facilities. Not only is this street near some of San Francisco's most well know places, but it is near great shopping places. Van Ness Avenue is actually one of the most busiest streets and always has cars passing by. Market street is also nearby, which is also always busy because it is in the shopping district.

Thorp Ln
"A short but vast street"
Thorp street is a pretty short street that leads into 19th street. This street mainly consists of houses and apartments. What is interesting about this street is that it has a variety of different houses, different shapes, sizes, and colors. There is not a suburban vibe whatsoever because each houses is different. Most of the houses are actually two stories tall, but some of the houses are wider than others. This lane actually has many plants too because many of the houses have gardens/ yards. The Twin Peaks of San Francisco, a great place to visit with family and friends, is not that far away either.

Oakwood St
"A short one-way street"
Oakwood is a short one-way street that begins at 18th street and ends at 19th street. This short street consists mainly of houses, which are pretty decent. There are a few large trees planted on the sidewalk too. The street itself is okay in it's condition, there are a few oil stains and cracks, but that's pretty much it. This street is near a few facilities too, such as Mission Dolores Park, which has basketball and tennis courts. It is also near the Mission Playground, where families with children can go to and play. I recommend this place for couples and families. As for transportation, either car or bus would be fine.

Castro St
"A very short street near parks"
Lloyd street is a very tiny street, about a block long and it is slightly sloping uphill. It begins at Castro street and it ends at Scott street. This street is very narrow, so I would not recommend visitors to come here by car. This street consists mostly of apartments and a few houses. The houses and apartments are average looking, but they are pretty decent. This street is a little bit shabby, but is still has that peaceful and quiet vibe. This street is near two parks: the Buena Vista Park and the Duboce Park, which are only about two to three blocks away.

Potomac St
"A very tiny street"
Potomac Street is an extremely short street that begins at Waller street and it leads into Duboce Park. This street basically consists of houses and apartments. Most of the houses have the same basic shape and the apartments pretty much look the same too except for their color. This street does not have many people because it is so hidden and tiny, but it is very neat and clean. This street lead right into Duboce Park, which is a great place for families, couples, and great for people with pets. There are also a few parks nearby a few blocks away.

Carmelita street is starts at Waller street and eventually leads into Pierce Street. There are only houses located here and they are very nice looking. They have a classic look to them and have a sort of Victorian vibe to them. All of the houses have basically the same structure and shape. There are also a few nice apartments on this street too. This street would be great for couples or families with kids because there is a park nearby, Duboce Park. However, there are not any stores or shops on this street.

This street starts at Noe Street and it ends at 15th street. This street consists mostly of houses and apartments. The houses are mostly two stories high and the apartments look just right, not too big and not too small. This street is near many great facilities, such as Corona Heights Park, State Street Playground, and Buena Vista Park. This street is actually very clean and there is little to no graffiti at all on the buildings. There are also some trees planted on the sidewalks, which brings a vibe of peace to this street. Levant St
"A small short street"
Levant street is a really short street that intersects Lower Terrace and states Street. This street consists mainly of two story houses and apartment-like complexes that are about three stories high. This is an average street with pretty nice houses, the atmosphere of this street is peaceful. The great thing about this street is that it is near many attractions. There are three parks nearby, the Corona Park, Buena Vista Park, and Golden Gate Park. There is also a playground for kids right next to the Corona Park, the State Street Playground. The Twin Peaks of San Francisco is a bit farther away, but the Golden Gate Park is only about 10-12 blocks away, which is a bit longer than walking distance, but there are buses.

"Peaceful and Quiet Street"
Ord Street is a semi-long street that begins at Market Street and leads right into Ord Court. This street consists mainly apartment-like complexes, most of which are three stories high, but there are also two story houses. This street is quite peaceful and it's cleanliness is average. What is great about this street is that it is near not one, but two parks: the Corona Heights Park and the Buena Vista Park. For kids, there is a playground, the State Street Playground, right nest to the Corona Heights Park. Belmont Ave
"A short cut"
Belmont Avenue is a very short street located basically inside the Interior Park Belt of San Francisco. Belmont is pretty much an unnoticeable street unless you travel on Edgewood Ave or Willard Street. Belmont is pretty nice, there are many trees that line, and pretty much, over crowd the sidewalks. The vegetation does add to the peaceful vibe of this neighborhood. This street basically serves as an exit for residents/ visitor of Edgewood Ave and as a short cut for others. There are a few houses that are apart of this street and they are pretty nice, but not as nice as some of the other houses on the other streets around this neighborhood. But overall, this street is pretty nice, even if it serves as a exit route or short cut.

Edgewood Ave
"Clean and Unique"
Edgewood Avenue is practically apart of the Interior Park Belt. This street consists only of houses, which are very nice, most are pretty large, about three stories high. Most of the houses have their own unique style, whether it is their structure or the plants and flowers in front of the house. The thing that stands out the most is the ground, most streets have a grey-black color, but this street has a red brick lane which adds to the beauty of this street. This street is also extremely clean, there is little to no litter or graffiti on this street. There are also many trees lining the street, which really adds to it's quaint and peaceful vibe. I recommend those that visit this street to go by foot or by car because there aren't any buses that go here.

Crown Ter
"Quiet, Peaceful, Quaint"
Crown Terrace is located near the Twin Peaks of San Francisco. This street is intersects Clarendon Avenue, but it does not lead anywhere else. The houses here are what one would imagine to be in a magazine for homes. Some of the houses here are actually three stories tall, pretty large, but there are also one story houses too, but are also pretty big because they take up a lot of area. This place is beautiful because of all the plants and flowers around the houses. I would recommend those that visit this street to either go by foot or by a small car. The reason for this is because this street is narrow and it would be difficult for a large car to get through. There are perks of living on this street, such as going to Twin Peaks whenever there is time since it is nearby.

Raccoon Dr
"Just off of Twin Peaks Boulevard"
Raccoon Drive branches off of Twin Peaks Boulevard and it is a pretty short and narrow street that leads to a dead end. However, this street is pretty nice although it usually goes unnoticed. Although Raccoon Drive may not have many or any raccoons at all, it is a pretty nice place. There are houses and apartments here that are not too shabby. This street is nice because it is surrounded by trees since it is near the Twin Peaks Reservior and this narrow little street is quaint because it contains so many trees and plants that add to the bright vibe of this place. This place is great for people that like peace and quiet in a mostly secluded area, but would like to have the option of going to places that are very populated only minutes away.

"Inside the Interior Park Belt"
Behr Avenue is a street located inside of the Interior Park Belt of San Francisco, it is also near the Twin Peaks. This short street is beautiful and peaceful because it is bordered by the plants and flowers of the park, they give a peaceful atmosphere to the place. There are a few buildings here, which are like apartment-like complexes, most of them are actually a brown-wood color to blend in with the trees or a stone-gray color to blend in with the earth. This street is just a place that people will walk by when visiting this park and this street is just a quaint place, but it is sometimes disturbed because many cars pass by or park here.

Ventura Avenue is located near Laguna Honda Boulevard. This short street starts at Castenada Avenue and 8th Avenue. This street consists only of houses. These houses are pretty large and extravagant, most of the houses are two stories, some even three stories high. This is a quaint place because of all the green; each house has it's own tiny lawn or their own shrubs and trees. There are many trees and plants lining the sidewalk that brighten up and add to the peaceful and happy vibe of this place. The street and the houses are very clean here and there is rarely any disturbances to the peace here. Palo Alto Avenue is located between the Interior Park Belt and the Twin Peaks Reservoir. This is a pretty short street but it has nice houses. Some of the houses are one story and others are three stories, all of them are decent though, some are more extravagant than others. There are many trees surrounding this street, which is not surprising since it is near a park. There are not many stores around, most of the other streets around here only consist of houses. Cityview Way
"A view of the city"
Cityview way is a semi-short street located near the Twin Peaks of San Francisco. It starts at Panorama Drive and it ends at Midcrest Way. This street consists only of houses. These are ordinary looking houses, they look clean, comfortable, and are big enough to hold a family and small enough for a single person to live comfortably. In reference to the name of this street, "Cityview", there is sort of a view of the city if one stands on top of the hill on this street. This street is a little bit steep so I would not recommend this street for those that cannot endure physical strain. This street is slightly sloping, but I wouldn't consider it steep. The houses here are very nice, they have similar shapes and structures, but they also have their own style. The unique thing about this street is that one side of the street consists only of houses while the other side of the street has greenery, such as shrubbery and trees. Ardendale Dr
"A slightly sloping street"
Caroline Way is located in Daly City and it intersects Ardendale Drive and Alta Vista Way. This street is actually apart of a whole network of other streets that only consist of houses. Caroline street is a slightly sloping street and it is also curvy. It may be a bit steep for those that aren't use to traveling up and down hills though, I wouldn't recommend it for the elderly that aren't in the best physical shape. It would also be ideal for people to travel by car because there are not many modes of transport, there aren't many bus stops nearby and there aren't any stores on this street. This street is very clean and peaceful though.

Southridge Way
"An Ordinary and nice street"
Southridge way is a quaint and short street that intersects Oakridge Drive. There are only houses located here. One side of the street is lined with houses and the other side is lined with trees and plants. The houses have similar shapes and colors, they are all about two stories high and have a plain and original look to them. They actually don't have much style or unique colors. It is a quiet street that does not have much traffic. In this neighborhood, it is probably best to own a car because there are not bus stops nearby. There aren't many shops nearby either because this street is part of a network of other houses.

Santos St
"One of the more run-down areas of the neighborhood"
Santos street is located in the Sunnydale area near Visitacion Valley. It is an average street in length, it starts at Sunnydale Avenue and ends at Geneva Avenue. This street is sort of run-down, most minority groups populate this area and it has a bad reputation because of crimes or violence. There are improvements being made though, new buildings have been made and more funds have come into this neighborhood to help. There are a few buses that come through here so transportation is not a problem. The houses here mostly look the same, but there aren't any stores on this street. This would probably not be a great street for people to visit since there isn't much going on.

"A short, narrow, sloping street"
Williar Avenue is a short street that extends from Mt Vernon Avenue to Niagara Avenue. This street is a bit shabby looking, there is not enough color on this street, there needs to be more green plants or more variety in the color of the houses. Also, the dirty street and sidewalks covered in oil stains add to the shabby looking effect, it makes the place look gray. The houses are not bad though, they are decent and pretty sufficient, they just need more color to them. This street is a few blocks away from Ocean Avenue, which is a positive aspect of this street because transportation devices are available. Bay street also goes through North Beach, which has great italian food. There is also a shopping center that includes fast food restaurants, grocery stores, conveniece stores, etc. The Ghiiradelli Square is also nearby. There are a few parks neraby, the Russian Hill park and Joseph Conrad Park. A great aspect about this street is that is located near many great places. Overall, this street is worth visiting because of all the sights.

Prado St
"Big houses and apartments"
Prado Street intersects Scott street and Cervantes Boulevard. There are big houses and large apartments. The houses range from two to three stories high. The apartments are a tan-white color and are pretty big. The apartments clean too, there isn't any graffiti on the street and the side walks are clean. There are driveways in the houses too, cars can also park outside. There isn't any traffic on this street so it is pretty quiet and peaceful. There are plants or greenery on most of the houses, which brightens up and adds color to this place. There aren't any stores on this street though and not many bus stops nearby. Overall, this place is okay.

Avila St
"Houses, Houses, Houses"
Avila street starts at Chesnut street and ends at Prado Street. One thing that stands out about this street are the houses, there are only houses located on this street and nothing else. The houses are beautiful too, they all have a modern look to them. Some even look like they just came out of a magazine of how to design your house. There are plants in front of most of the houses, which brightens up the place even more. Most of the houses are two stories high and have a driveway. This street is safe, peaceful, and clean. Although there aren't any stores located on this street, I think the beautiful variety of houses make up for it.

White St
"Quaint with nice houses"
White street is located between Hyde Street and Larkin Street. Although it is a short street, it is not a one way street. It actually serves as a short cut from Vallejo Streets and Green Street. There are houses and apartments on this street but no stores. The houses are nice, they each have a unique look to them, they all look different from the others and somehow fit together, their colors and structures do not clash, it actually has a unifying effect to it. The houses look nice, above average. There are driveways for some of the houses, but cars can also park outside too. The apartments are decent. This street does not have any stores, but there are a few nearby.

Russell Street is located between Union Street and Green Street. This street is pretty short and it intersects Hyde. There are houses and apartments. The houses are decent but average. There aren't many varieties in color in the buildings. Most of the houses are a blue color, but some are tan and white. The street is pretty narrow and one would expect it to be a one way street, but it actually isn't. As for parking, the cars all park on one side of the street, which makes the street even more narrow. This street is actually pretty short, so it does not have many buildings, there aren't any food stores or convience stores, there is an auto shop though. There aren't many huge shopping malls around either and there aren't many parks within walking distance.

August Aly
"A Narrow Place with nice houses"
August alley is located between Powell Street and Mason Street. Although this street is pretty narrow, the houses here are quite nice. Some houses are so tall that I think they might serve as apartments, there are actual apartment buildings located here too. This place is very clean too, there is very little, or no, graffiti at all. The only negative parts about this street is that it could have more green to brighten up the place. There aren't many trees on this street, but there is a park nearby, Washington Square Park. The other negative part is the narrowness of this street. There are driveways for some of the houses, but it might be difficult to park. Overall, this place is okay.

"A Plain Place"
Genoa Place is located between Kearby Street and Grant Ave. This street is very shoort and it serves as a shortcut from Union street to Filbert Street. The buildings here mostly consists of apartments, which look pretty plain. Their colors do not really stand out, most are actually a white peach-like color. There isn't a lot of colorful things here, the buildings have a really bland and plain color. There aren't many trees or greenery here, I think this street would be more welcoming if there were trees planted on the sidewalk, but since this street is pretty narrow, there wouldn't be enough space for that. There are a few parks nearby though, the Pioneer Park and Washington Square Park. The Coit Tower is also nearby.

There are actually many stores scattered around the area and there are several bus stops nearby. Most of the restaurants nearby serve only chinese food, but if you enjoy eating italian food, just walk up towards North Beach. But both the apartments and houses are decent. The majority of buildings here are apartments. There aren't many parking spaces, but some of the houses have a driveway. The street is pretty narrow though so only one car can pass one at a time. Overall, this street is quaint, quiet and peaceful.

Steuart Street is located near the Embarcadero. It is actually pretty close to the bay, this street starts at Howard Street and ends at Mission Street. There are no houses or apartments either. Although this street is only filled with buildings, there is a pretty nice view of the bay. The street itself is also very clean. Mission St
"Basically the headquarters of the S.F. Chronicle"
Mary Street intersects Mission street and it is pretty short so it can be easily missed. However, there is one large aspect of this street that will probably cause people to do a double take. The building on the side of this street is very big, it actually takes up an entire block on Mission street. It is none other than the San Francisco Chronicle. This is basically the headquarters in which current events in San Francisco and the world are put into a newspaper everyday for the residents of San Francisco. Other than the SF chronicle, there isn't really much on this street. On the opposite side of the building is a parking lot, and that is pretty much it.

4th St
"A must-go-to-place in S.F."
4th street is actually pretty long, it begins at 3rd street and extends all the way to Market street. The reason I say 4th street is a must-go-to-place is because it covers most of the hot spots in San Francisco. It is close to AT&T Park, home to the S.F. giants, the zeum, which includes restaurants, an ice skating rink, bowling alley, carousel, and more. The Metreon is also here, which includes the AMC theatres, arcades, stores, etc. There is the San Francisco Shopping Ceter too. There are just so many places to go on this street that it will take at least an entire day to see. This is the perfect place to have fun and hang out with friends or family.

"A crooked and famous street in S.F."
Lombard street is a very long street that goes from the North Beach district to the Marina District. Although this street is extremely long, people only come to see a small portion of it. Lombard street is famous because of it's crookedness. This portion of Lombard street is located between Chestnut Street and Greenwich street. The houses on this portion on this street are extravagant and mansion-like, which I heard is a pretty good place to trick-or-treat. The road is also paved differently from the other streets since this is like a landmark. Other than the curvy part of the street, Lombard street is just like any other street in San Francisco. Overall, this place is alright because it is a view.

The Embarcadero
"One of the most famous places of San Francisco"
One thing I can say about Pier 39 is that you never get bored when you're there. There are many attractions that will draw your attention, such as the sea food restaurants, arcade, etc. Pier 39 is located at the Embarcadero and Beach Street. The place is great to hang out with friends by hanging out at the arcade or spending time with family looking at the different wildlife located in the pier. Many people actually go fishing in this area when it is the right season and sometimes the catches aren't half bad. There are a variety of fish that can be found here in the bay area. Overall, this place is a fantastic way to have fun on a nice and sunny day.

West View Ave
"Basically consists of houses"
This street intersects Cambridge street. It is not particularly interesting because it only consists of houses, these houses are average. The houses seem to have similarities in color too, and it seems like there is a pattern. There are light blue/ green houses and there are many tan/ white houses. The structures of the houses are sort of boring and this street just needs to liven up. There should be more green. The mini lawns outside the houses aren't that impressive and the tiny bushes don't do much to help. What this street needs are trees to be planted along the sidewalks and the trees need to be a deeper green color because the houses are too light.

Princeton St
"Different Regions, different houses"
Princeton Street is just one of the many streets in this particular region named after a college. It is pretty quirky how there is a university street, dartmouth street, oxford street, and harvard street nearby. This street stands out because the houses seem to change from one region to another on this street. On one side of this street, there are houses that look exactly the same in structure and even the differences in color don't make them interesting. However, as one moves down the street, he or she will notice that the houses change and all of a sudden, the houses are pretty neat. Each houses is special and unique and all of them are beautiful once one goes into the other side. Both sides do add to the charm of the street though.

"More like a narrow ally way"
This street looks more like an alley way than a street because it is so narrow. A car can probably squeeze into this tight space one by one, but it is extremely narrow, but not so narrow that a person can't fit. The houses here are pretty nice, they have this very basic look to them. They are all in one solid, even color that makes a person think "plain", but they have an air of comfy and home-like feeling to them. This street is actually pretty clean except that the street itself has patches of different colors. This street has it's perks because it is near one of San Francisco's landmarks, the Coit Tower. These are no ordinary houses though, they have a very modernized look to them. It looks like a typical place for a business person to live or a couple. Although the houses look identical to each other, they still have an appeal to them. The houses do differ in color though, but most of them are a dark blue color. This street leads to Buena Vista Park, which is great for people that have dogs or people that love to go to the park for picnics. A few blocks away, there are three other parks, which holds many facilities. This would be a great place to live for people that love nature.

Carmel St
"A Sweet little street"
Carmel Street, no there aren't any candy stores, is a short and sweet little street because it is clean, safe, and the houses here aren't too shabby either. There are a few really tall houses and some one story houses, which is good because there is variety. Each house is different too, there are some pretty interesting colors. Some are yellow, deep blue, teal, red, green, and all the colors in between. There aren't actually any stores on this street, but it is near market street, which is shopping central. This street is also near a big park complex, the nearest one is interior park belt. This would be a great place for people who love going to the park.

Broadway St
"Broadway Street: A very long street"
This street is very well known in San Francisco, even it's name is famous. This street actually leads from the Presidio to the Embarcadero, which is quite a distance. I wouldn't reccomend this street to young children because there are a lot of bars, clubs, etc. At the day time, it is alright for children to roam around this street, but at night time, it's best if they stay home. Because this street is so long, there are many facilities. This street is near several parks, it passes through Chinatown, libraries, hospitals, clinics, schools etc. There are some very nice houses on this street, but it depends on the region you're in. There are also cafes, restaurants, and stores scattered around this street. Because this street is so long and it passes so many places, it's great for sight seeing or getting familiar with San francisco.

Cherry Street is like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae, this street is really beautiful and it has beautiful houses. Each house is unique and has a quality of elegance, yet home-like, feel to them. They are mostly three stories high and most of them either have some type of plant in front of them or near them . Walter U Lum Pl
"Walter U Lum Place: Fantastic Place for Families"
Walter U Lum Place is located right above Portsmouth Square in Chinatown. This is just a shaded region where people take strolls or is used as a short cut. When Chinese New Year is near, this street is filled with festivities. This street turns into a mini amusement park, minus the rollercoasters. There will be cotton candy, popcorn, funnel cakes, etc sold during that time of the year. This street is right next to Portsmouth Square, which is a very popular place for the locals to hang out. Parents usually bring their children to this park for them to play on the swings or monkey bars. This is also a very popular place for the elderly. Every Saturday, there is a fair in Portsmouth Square, so it is very popular to locals and tourists.
